Who We Are
Jackson Rosenfield LLP is a boutique law firm with a national and international practice. Our clients, and their projects, are located throughout the United States and overseas, from Alaska to Florida and from Japan to Afghanistan to South America. We take pride in our ability to provide the quality of legal service offered by highly-regarded large, international firms with the client service focus, flexibility, and advantages available from a small boutique firm.
Although we are relatively new as a firm, our partners have known each other and worked together for years, just as many of our clients have worked with and relied upon our partners for more than a decade. Our clients value our ability to work effectively and efficiently, with the ability to devise and implement creative solutions that achieve their objectives. We are aggressive in representing our clients’ interests, but we adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional courtesy in everything we do.
What We Believe
We know that litigation is only one way to resolve a dispute, and often not the best. While we enjoy trying cases to judgment, we haven’t yet met a client who wants to pay us simply to have our fun; our preference, as a result, is to look for other solutions that best serve our clients’ business goals.
Should litigation prove necessary, we believe it should be pursued aggressively in the most practical and cost-efficient manner for each of our clients. Litigation success begins with working with our clients to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each case, determine goals, develop an appropriate litigation strategy and determine a budget. This approach not only assures efficient and cost-effective representation, it provides the best opportunity for a favorable outcome for our clients.

While our practice is national and international, we live in the Puget Sound area and support our community and the people in it, including nonprofit and charitable organizations, at both the firm and individual level. We also look for ways we can partner with our clients on community service projects, both large and small. Attorneys and staff work hand-in-hand on these projects, with each person contributing his or her talent, time, and energy.
Consistent with our clients’ business needs, we are open to any fee structure that is fair to both our clients and the firm, including hourly fee, fixed fee, pure and modified contingent fee agreements, and success fees.
We do not pass along our overhead costs to clients. Unlike most firms, we do not charge our clients for long distance telephone calls, internal copies, scans or faxes, USPS postage, or even the significant fees associated with the use of legal research databases.
